MWH Foundation (U) is a social enterprise since 2012 and an initiative of the MWH4impact in the Netherlands.
Through a chain of nine agro support centers (ASC), 4 in West Nile and 5 in Northern Uganda, we support close to 6.000 customers (smallholder farmers) with quality agro inputs and agro knowledge and advice.
We currently employ close to 50 employees. Headquarters are in Wakiso TC on Hoima Road and the two regional offices are located in Arua (WN) and Pajule (NU).
 

We are recruiting an assistant to the director for HR

Main areas of responsibilities of the HR Officer

• Recruitment and retaining staff
• Staff development and training
• Performance monitoring
• Work place policies
• Payroll and benefits program
• Maintain work culture
• HR compliance

Required qualifications:

• Bachelors’ degree in Human Resources Management
• A minimum of three years’ experience as HR officer in a medium seized enterprise
• Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships
• Good knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Conversant with Microsoft office 365, notably excel and Microsoft Teams

HR officer reports directly to the Country Director
Gross salary 4 – 4,5 M/month plus secondary benefits like health insurance and provident fund
The job requires regular upcountry travel (Arua and Pajule)
