Job Description

Department : Stores Reports to: Finance & Administration Manager Prepared by: Human Resource Department Endorsed by: Managing Director Job Summary: The Stores Supervisor shall be responsible for overall supervision of store operations by ensuring efficient and effective management of the company stores including raw materials, consumable items, scrap and finished goods among others. Key Responsibilities: • The incumbent shall manage all the operations of the company stores. • Design and implement procedures and guidelines on storage, stock control distribution and logistics management in accordance with company policy. • Oversee the loading and off-loading of materials and dispatching of finished products. • Manage and supervise order processing in stores in accordance with the company policies. • Oversee physical stock taking for different product categories. • Maintain products and raw materials categorization into unique product classifications in the store. • Manage and maintain an update register for all returns, damaged and recycled products. • Manage records and documentation of all materials/ goods received and issued. • Generate reports on stock positions and consumption patterns. • Maintain the safety and hygiene in storage handling of stocks in line with storage standards. • Ensuring that physical inventory matches with the system at all times. • Verification of all receipts and issues out of the store. • Observing minimum and maximum stock levels at all times. • Perform any other duties assigned by your supervisor. Working Relationship: • Working closely with stores, Finance and develop solutions. • Flexible working hours & days • Ability to work on simultaneously project and meet all set deadlines. • Working under a regulated noisy place Work Environment /Conditions: • Ability to work under regulated noisy place • Ability to follow given instructions • Working for long hours even on weekends and public holidays • Must wear overcoat while carrying out any given assignment Job requirement: • The ideal candidate must hold a Degree in Procurement and Stores Management from a recognized Institution. • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in a busy environment, • Knowledge of ISO is a plus; • Working knowledge of ERP system is an added advantage. • Ability to independently plan and execute complex tasks while addressing daily management details and remaining organized and focused. • Excellent team working skills. • Ability to assess problems and develop solutions. • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and excellent organization skills high and degree of integrity and transparency.
