B.         Purpose of the job

To coordinate all marketing activities in the international business operations of MPL so as to meet the company strategic objectives

C.        Responsibilities

1.         Main Responsibilities:

a)      Take part in the overall market planning by providing insights of international business operations to help achieve the strategic objectives of the business;

b)      Enhance the contribution to revenue per product  for the 3 brands through executing market research, product portfolio management, tracking and brand activations in line the respective departmental work plan;

c)       Field visits and reporting to follow up on the challenges faced, new expectations and follow up towards their achievement;

d)      Coordinating the implementation of customer relationship marketing programs for international business;

e)      Coordinate channel branding consistency in the respective countries to ensure the three brands are well represented;

f)        Prepare and submit relevant administrative documents in a timely and accurate manner, i.e.: letters of credit; credit control mechanisms; licenses; declarations; clearances, permission letters, safety protocols, goods handling instructions, routing, proper packing, suitable transport methods and safety documentation.;

g)      Follow-up on the implementation of the Export Sale strategies that may include Trade shows, Market activation events and market intelligence plans; and

h)      Perform general market audits in line with general trade merchandizing and supermarkets merchandizing.

3.         Key Result Areas

a)      Daily tracking of  order status for all approved transactions

b)      Ensure 100% payment before the dispatch of the agent’s consignments

c)       Ensure 100% compliance as per the country trade regulations

d)      Timely delivery of the required  product sample to regulatory body with in the specific timelines

e)      Make status reports on key supervised company activation campaigns

f)         Tracking and monitoring company based activities to ensure visibility and value for money

g)      Update the company customer data base

h)      Weekly itinerary for all the zones/agents in the assigned region with clear supervisory activity based plans

i)        Ensure 100% management of all customer complaints

j)        Ensure 100% compliance with the required export documentation check list

k)      Ensure 100% success rate on all assigned export deliveries

l)        Express a high degree of flexibility and versatility

A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
