Role Purpose and Context

The Human Resource Associate main role is to support the day-to-day administrative activities in the HR Consulting department thereby ensuring that all HR projects run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Administration

•          Supports the HR Consultants with all administrative duties associated with HR projects

•          Designs Job adverts and liaise with the media houses and clients for approval

•          Posts job adverts on PPG’s social media platforms (www.kaziJobs.com , LinkedIn , Facebook)

•          Schedules interviews

•          Screens CV’s

•          Supports HR Consultants during interviews

•          Administers psychometric tests

•          Writes reports

•          Verifies applicants employment history  - Reference checks

•          Verifies applicants Education/professional qualifications

•          Undertakes background checks on applicants

Training

•          Supports the HR Consultant during trainings to include logistics, preparation of materials, coordination of event and facilitation during training sessions.

Database management

•          Custodian of all HR Consulting databases i.e.

-           CV database for unassessed candidates

-           CV database for assessed candidates;

-           Consultants status tracker;

-           CfL database Web tool; 

-           Statistics spreadsheet for MGLSD 

•          Any other duties assigned by management

Qualifications, Experience and skills needed to meet the demands of the role (required/desired):          Terms of Appointment: (Fixed permanent, Temporary, outsource, etc.)

1.         Bachelor’s degree with a bias in Human Resources or any other related field

2.         At least one years’ experience in administration

3.         Experience in using spreadsheet and databases

4.         Excellent Communication skills both verbal and written

5.         Exceptional organisational skills

6.         Good Interpersonal and problem solving skills

7.         High integrity and commitment to quality

8.         Resilient self-motivated and flexible

9.         Willingness to learn and research

10.       Ability to work independently or to work under minimum supervision
