Reports to: Operations Director Duty Station: Kampala Main office

General Description of the Program
BeadforLife creates sustainable opportunities for women to lift their families out of extreme poverty through the Street Business School Entrepreneurial trainings with a goal of reaching 1 million women by 2027. The Operations Assistant shall work together with the operations team to plan, and execute necessary logistical functions that support ongoing programs implementation.

General Description of the Role
A. Ensure effective and transparent implementation of the procurement policy
B. Procurement and management of supplies and services
C. Manage international shipping process
D. Coordinate Asset management and Disposal Process
E. Operations budgeting and monitoring
F. Track fuel use and perform reconciliation
G. Key management
H. Point person for IT contractor and support
I. Management of Operations store

Qualification: Degree in a relevant field from a recognised University
Experience: At least 3 years of progressive professional experience in procurement, administration, operational coordination preferably in an NGO

In addition to the qualifications and experience, the following qualities are required:

• Solid computer skills
• Flexible and a good problem solver
• Detail Oriented
• High level of energy and ability to move around frequently to source supplies/services
• Reliable and timely, good at meeting deadlines
• Negotiation skills
